Headache in NMOSD / Cefalea en NMOSD

Headaches are a common symptom of multiple sclerosis (MS). Lifetime prevalence of headaches in MS patients can range between 4–58%, with a migraine without an aura and tension-type headache being the most frequently reported. A higher incidence of a migraine in relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) has been reported.

Less is known about headaches in the spectrum of neuromyelitis optica disorders (NMOSD).

This review makes a good correlation between a relationship headache and NMOSD, with various type of pain, also de data of the comorbidities in NMO and their association with Headache.

Los dolores de cabeza  ( cefalea ) es un síntoma común en  esclerosis múltiple (EM). La prevalencia a lo largo de la vida de la cefalea en pacientes con EM puede oscilar entre el 4-58%, con presentacion predominante de  migraña sin aura y  cefalea tensional ,como las más frecuentes. Se ha reportado una mayor incidencia de migraña en la EM recurrente-remitente (EMRR).

Esta revisión hace una buena correlación entre una cefalea de relación y NMOSD, con diversos tipos de dolor, también los datos de las Comorbilidades en NMO y su asociación con cefalea.
